RubberTech China 98 was the first international conference and exhibition dedicated to examining the latest rubber manufacturing technology in China. Its purpose was to promote the business opportunities available in China and to encourage the establishment of business relations.

The first two days papers concentrated on Chinas potential as a rubber market and the third day consisted of technical papers which covered the latest advances within the industry, describing new processing technologies, environmental concerns and areas of strong growth.
