These proceedings cover all the presentations from iSmithers' third Nanopolymers conference. All aspects of this fascinating and rapidly developing field were discussed, which is already beginning to impact on polymer users and researchers in most industry sectors.  The conference updated producers and users involved in polymers, both for components and films, with the latest thoughts and developments which will affect them.

Trends in the field of nanocomposites were covered, along with market data for projected products.  Information on the latest developments incorporating nano-clays, carbon nanotubes and graphene into composites was also given.

Other topics were those which use nano-based polymers for property enhancement, through flame retardancy, heat resistance, durability, antimicrobial activity, self-cleaning properties, conducting materials, and also those offering aesthetic effects.
