Rapra Technology and Plastics and Rubber Weekly jointly organised a meeting at Shawbury in March 1995 to review the trends and developments in the automation of the plastics processing industry.

The nine papers presented in this book are from several supply sectors including robotics, injection moulding machinery, materials handling, conveying and other ancillary hardware and software. Together these papers present a valuable contribution to the amalgamation of knowledge in this area and should be of value to all involved in the moulding of polymer materials.
