This meeting dealt with agrochemicals and the impact of fluorine attention on the characteristic fluorine substituent effects that underpin work on selectively fluorinated organic molecules of interest in agrochemical and related circles. Speakers from industry and academia presented papers on substituent and biochemical effects, synthesis of fluorine intermediates, agrochemicals containing fluorine and new methods for C-F bond synthesis.
